Job Description

The Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating effective training programs that enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and overall performance of sales promoters, marketing coordinators, and internal employees. The role ensures training initiatives are aligned with company goals, market trends, and business needs to drive consistent performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct product, sales, and skills-based training programs based on identified training needs of sales promoters.
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions to build strong product knowledge, selling confidence, and customer engagement skills.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities, product developments, and new product launches to ensure training content remains relevant and competitive.
  • Design, develop, update, and maintain training materials, presentations, job aids, and assessment tools aligned with training objectives.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned product lines and industry trends.
  • Conduct post-training evaluations and assessments to measure training effectiveness and workplace application.
  • Facilitate regular training sessions, refreshers, and coaching activities for sales promoters and marketing coordinators.
  • Collaborate with management to identify performance gaps and recommend learning and development solutions.
  • Prepare training reports, attendance records, and performance evaluation summaries.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and field-based training when required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager or General Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in training, coaching, or facilitation; background in retail, sales, or product training is an advantage.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to design engaging learning materials and conduct assessments.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate training outcomes and identify improvement areas.
  • Willingness to travel and conduct field training as needed.
