Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilizes the Nursing Process to provide nursing assessments per the state Nurse Practice Act.
- Conducts assessments for individuals or defined patient populations via telecommunications based on algorithms and protocols.
- Adheres to nursing standards and company policies while conducting clinical assessments and health education.
- Identifies patient care needs, risks, safety issues, and educational opportunities.
- Processes calls according to Quality Management guidelines and meets specific performance metrics.
- Maintains regular attendance and punctuality; must work 4 weekend shifts monthly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
