Job Description
Job Summary: The Operating Room Aide supports the surgical team by ensuring the operating room is prepared and maintained for surgical procedures. This role involves transporting patients, maintaining sterile conditions, and assisting with the setup and breakdown of operating rooms. The OR Aide is essential for the smooth operation of surgical services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and orderiness of the operating room.
- Assist nurses in OR procedures efficiently.
- Provide non-medical, basic patient care under the supervision of an OR Nurse.
- Maintain OR premises, facilities, and equipment.
- Transport instruments, supplies, and medicines as needed.
