Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Medical Biller to join our expanding mobile surgical physician wound care team. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Submit claims to insurance companies using coded data.
• Work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients for claims processing.
• Review and appeal unpaid/denied claims.
• Verify patients’ insurance coverage and manage billing inquiries.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of medical billing experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Excel expertise preferred.
• Must be willing to work the graveyard shift.
