Job Description
The Inventory & Purchasing Officer oversees stock management and procurement to ensure uninterrupted operations. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, forecasting demand, issuing and tracking purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, coordinating deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and driving cost optimization. The role requires proficiency with inventory systems or ERP software, strong analytical and negotiation abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and enhance purchasing efficiency. Minimum qualifications include at least 2 years of experience in inventory or procurement; a diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, or business is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
