Job Description
Abbott Laboratories is seeking a skilled Collections Representative to join our INR and VAD Revenue Cycle team. In this role, you will manage and resolve insurance follow-ups and denial issues, ensuring the company receives accurate reimbursements from insurance providers. You will act as a liaison among insurance companies, patients, and various departments to ensure that claims are properly processed and followed up to achieve our goals in Accounts Receivable Days, Aging Account percentages, and Cash collection targets. Your responsibilities also include researching and addressing questions and complaints regarding patient balances and billing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
