Job Description
We are seeking a Flag State Coordinator to ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and oversee flag administration for our fleet. The position coordinates inspections, certification, and engagement with flag authorities and ship operators.
- Manage flag state documentation and certification processes.
- Coordinate surveys, audits, and liaison with port and flag authorities.
- Monitor regulatory changes (SOLAS, MLC, MARPOL) and assist in incident response.
Qualifications: degree in maritime studies or equivalent, 3+ years’ relevant experience, solid knowledge of SOLAS/MLC/MARPOL and port state control procedures, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure.
