Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Charge Entry Specialist to ensure accurate entry of patient charges and uphold billing integrity. Responsibilities include reviewing clinical documentation, verifying insurance and CPT/ICD coding, posting charges to billing systems, resolving denials, and coordinating with clinical and billing teams to meet submission deadlines.
- Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year healthcare billing experience preferred; strong speed and accuracy in data entry.
- Technical: basic knowledge of CPT/ICD codes and medical billing software; EHR experience preferred.
- Skills: effective communication, problem-solving, and ability to meet deadlines.
