Job Description
We seek a detail-oriented Assistant Chemist to join our oil laboratory to perform routine testing and analysis of petroleum samples. The role includes sample preparation, operation and maintenance of instruments (GC, FTIR, viscometer, density meters), accurate data recording and validation, adherence to QA/QC and safety procedures, and support for senior chemists in method development and troubleshooting.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Laboratory experience or internship preferred
- Strong attention to detail, reliable record-keeping, and clear communication
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team and follow safety protocols
