Job Description

• At least college-level
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the practice.
• Provide compassionate care to patients.
• Performs all duties following hospital medical policies and procedures.
• Restrain patients appropriately and safely when required.
• Preferably with 6 months to 1 year experience in handling animals.
• Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.

• Ability to meet the job’s physical demands (e.g., lift up to 40 lbs.)

PHYSICAL

• Must be able to be on feet eight hours per day.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently.
• Must be able to handle dogs on leashes.
• Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
• Ability to follow instructions properly
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. lift up to 40 lbs.)
