Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Collections Representative to manage patient billing, pursue outstanding accounts, verify insurance coverage, and negotiate payment arrangements. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience in medical billing or collections, familiarity with HIPAA and insurance terminology, and working knowledge of EMR and billing software.
- Responsibilities: contact patients and insurers, reconcile accounts, document calls, and meet collection targets.
