Job Description
We are seeking a Contracting & Credentialing Specialist to oversee provider contracting and credentialing operations. The role includes preparing and negotiating provider contracts, performing primary source verifications, maintaining accurate credentialing files, submitting payer applications (including Medicare and Medicaid), tracking expirations and recredentialing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating communications with providers and network partners.
- Requirements: 2+ years’ experience in healthcare contracting or credentialing; familiarity with CAQH and credentialing systems.
- Skills: strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, solid organizational abilities; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and manage confidential information professionally.
