Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Staff to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the hospital’s billing processes, ensuring the accuracy of billing transactions, maintaining financial records, and working closely with other departments to manage account balances. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial documentation and ensuring timely collections.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage patient billing statements

Verify insurance claims and patient information

Ensure accurate and timely billing

Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances

Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to reconcile records

Handle patient inquiries and resolve billing issues

Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory billing policies

Generate financial reports as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Proven work experience as a Billing Staff, Billing Clerk, or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of billing and accounting principles

Familiarity with hospital or healthcare billing procedures is an advantage

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
